Radiation therapy is a treatment done with technology that realeses energy rayes on the specifc cancerous cells to get ride of them, and is also used to shrink tumors. In additon to radiation therapy, chemotheropy is another common treatment and this treatment is done by the use of medicated drugs that are used to stop the cancerous cells from splitting into two and quickly dividing. Since cancer cells divide much more ofter then normal cells, they are more likely to be killed by Chemotheropy.
There are multiple treatment options for Leukemia but some of the more common ones are Radiation, and Chemotherapy.

DIAGNOSIS
After you complete a physical and posses the symptoms of leukemia, the doctor will than do a blood test to see if in fact you do have Leukemia.
While doing these test the doctor will be looking at the patience blood and bone marrow to be certain of the diagnosis. The most common test performed is called the complete blood count (CBC), and this looks at the specific amount of each blood cell you have in your body and if there is in fact a abnormal amount of white blood cells the patient will than be diagnosed with Leukemia.
